JAWS INSIDE STORY MAKING OF
A noter,la parution d'un nouveau documentaire sur le tournage des Dents de la Mer.Ce doc,diffusé en juin dernier sur la chaîne Biography Channel aux USA est désormais proposé en DVD directement sur le site :

Sur la photo suivante,on retrouve Steven, 32 ans plus tard en compagnie
de son associé Jeffrey Katzenberg et du héros de l'année 2009 : James Cameron auprès duquel il s'initie au tournage en motion Capture en vue du TINTIN.Les années passent mais Steven est toujours au fait des techniques cinématographiques les plus pointues.
NB: Contrairement à ce que peut laisser croire la photo, Cameron n'est pas un démon cornu !
Do you remember a previous post with Steven on the Scarface's set.In the same idea,here is Georges Lucas on the Close encounters'set with Steven and François Truffaut.On the other photo,32 years later,Steven and his associate Jeffrey Katzenberg with the "king of the world" James Cameron.Years are going but Steven is still at the top of movie technologies , as motion capture for his coming TINTIN or 3D for ?????NB: Cameron is not a demon... no horns on his head !

JAWS BRUCE LES DENTS DE LA MER
Bon,je m'éloigne un peu du thème de ce blog,mais je tenais à vous faire partager un grand moment pour le fan de JAWS que je suis.Je viens de recevoir le modèle du requin Bruce réalisé par Mike Schultz.Cet américain en a peaufiné durant des mois la sculpture en utilisant toutes les références possibles issues du film.Il est parvenu à un degré de fidélité quasi parfait sur ce modèle qui mesure 95 cm de long et 50 cm d'envergure.J'ai vraiment l'illusion d'avoir le modèle ayant servi au tournage.Seule une cinquantaine d'exemplaires sera fabriquée et vous pouvez même demander de petites modifications .Voici l'adresse du forum où,après inscription, vous pourrez demander tous les renseignements nécessaireshttp://www.createforum.com/operationorca/

E.T FROM CONCEPT TO CLASSIC
Il aura fallu 20 ans pour qu'un livre de tournage soit enfin publié sur E.T.On replonge sans problème dans la magie du chef d'oeuvre avec une première partie qui revient sur l'origine ,la conception et le casting du film. 40 pages environ de photos inédites et de textes concis mais très informatifs.
For the 20th birthday of the movie,a great making of book was published about E.T.Yes ! it worths the wait.In the first part,everything from concept to casting.In the second part ,the annotated and illustrated screenplay,and in the third,the postproduction and beyond the movie. Full of never seen before photos.A MUST !
Seconde partie 110 pages de scénario complet richement illustré et truffé d'anecdotes de tournage :la maison d'Elliot fut au départ louée pour 6 semaines puis au final l'équipe y travaillera 4 mois.Harrison Ford viendra interpréter le directeur d'école...

...bien sûr,le jeu de mot fonctionne mieux en anglais (shoot = tirer ou filmer !) mais la question peut se poser en voyant la photo ci-dessous.Eh oui,Steven était présent lors du tournage de la mémorable séquence finale de fusillade de SCARFACE.Il faut savoir qu'à cette époque,la belle équipe formée de Coppola,Scorcese,Lucas,De Palma et Spielberg refaisait le monde
...cinématographique,chacun à sa manière et s'enrichissait du travail des uns et des autres.
(De Palma a toujours montré le montage de ses films à Spielberg pour avoir son avis...).
